Feb 06, 2026

Brisbane, QLD – Lethbridge Gallery is proud to announce that the Tattersall’s Landscape Art Prize is back for 2026. After a brief hiatus, this historic award has returned through a new partnership between the Tattersall’s Club and Lethbridge Gallery, continuing a 35-year legacy of celebrating Australian landscape art.

Artists across the country are invited to submit works for a chance to win the $30,000 major prize. This year also sees the introduction of a new Residency Award and a travelling exhibition to Riparian Plaza for selected finalists.

Key Submission Details:

  • Closing Date: Friday, 20 March 2026

  • First Prize: $30,000 (Acquisitive)

  • Exhibition Dates: 1 June – 10 July 2026

  • Venues: Tattersall’s Club, Lethbridge Gallery, and Riparian Plaza.

Expanded Criteria: The prize encourages diversity in interpretation. While traditional landscapes are welcome, the 2026 criteria have been extended to include urbanscapes, cityscapes, seascapes, and interiors. Both 2D and 3D works are eligible for entry.
